Once again, Astute has produced a case-study for Q Associates . This time the case study centred on the provision of Sun Microsystems computers to Bath University for their newly developed E-LOUNGES. The new computers (known as thin-clients) replace terminals and provide students and visitors access to greater amounts of information, web-based email and the Internet, whilst requiring far less power and minimal technical maintenance.

In order to write the piece, Astute interviewed the University's IT team to research the key features and benefits of the energy-saving technology involved.
